A Brighter Future 16 September 2014

I have decided to stick with the theme of seeking out a possible recovery play once more in the weekly column.

As we all know, attempting to find the bottom with a stock can be a futile exercise and I confess to rarely achieving it.

So, by highlighting today‚Äôs subject in the form of magazine publisher  FUTURE, I am fully aware that now may be a little

premature in investment terms ahead of its preliminary results, which are due out in late November.

Having said that, the business which has been through a pretty torrid time in recent years, appears to be going the right way after some fundamental changes coupled with a disposal programme.

It is largely off the radar these days, but I get the feeling that with a much strengthened balance sheet along with a continued migration towards the digital model Future possesses some decent recovery prospects which are worth of a look.

The article should be available via the link later this morning for anyone else interested in taking a look at this one.
